Central Coast Ocean Adventures Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to utilizing adventure through sailing and the sea to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) comprehension, environmental stewardship, teamwork, self-confidence, and nautical skills for the communities of Santa Barbara and Ventura counties with a special focus on youth.

CCOAF offers opportunities for every age, with a focus on 10-18 year-old youth. Programs are provided to schools, community-based organizations, families, and the public.
CCOAF is committed to making engaging experiential education and the Santa Barbara Channel more accessible to the communities of Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.
Volunteer Opportunities
CCOAF and Mystic Whaler are community resources. Join us in service by becoming a volunteer and develop new skills and friendships! Interested in volunteering? Click here!
Mystic Whaler is also available for fundraising events, multi-day adult educational trips to the Islands, corporate team-building, and public day sails focused on local wildlife and ocean conservation. Proceeds from these events, trips, and sails benefit CCOAF experiential education programs.
