Private Sponsored Sail income supports CCOA’s commitment to provide subsidized or no-cost extraordinary at-sea education programs to the youth of our communities.

Two-hour Sail Between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM	$3,000
½-Day Sail Up to 3 ½ hour duration	$5,000
½-Day Sunset Sail ½-day sails starting after 3:00 PM	$7,500
Full-Day Sail From 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM	$10,000
Overnight Sail From 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM the next day	$15,000

50 passengers for ½-Day and Day Sails
30 passengers for Overnight and Multi-Day/Night Sails

Mystic Whaler’s Homeport is Channel Islands Harbor, with periodic stays in Santa Barbara Harbor. If private sponsored sail requires ship to be delivered to a specific harbor, there will be a $10,000 delivery charge.

Refreshments:
Non-alcoholic refreshments are provided on ½-Day Sails.
Non-alcoholic refreshments and meals are provided on Full Day, Overnight, and Multi-Day Sails.
Alcoholic refreshments can be provided for an additional charge.

Mystic Whaler is also available for privately sponsored fundraising events such as parties, weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, and burials at sea.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

Private Sponsored Sail deposits and full payment can be via check, cashier’s check, Or Wire Transfer. Credit cards may not be used for payment.

20% of payment due at booking, unless booking is 60 days or less before private sponsored sail date, in which case full balance is due at booking.

No dates are confirmed reserved until 20% payment or full balance has cleared deposit.

Full balance due 60 days before the date of private sponsored sail.

For cancellations by customers 60 days or more before the date of private sponsored sail, CCOA will make every effort to reschedule, or full refund.

Cancellations by customers less than 60 days before the date of private sponsored sail will result in a credit toward another charter within 365 days of original private sponsored sail date, depending on ship availability. If another private sponsored sail does not take place within 365 days of original private sponsored sail date or ship is not available for alternative dates requested, then customer forfeits full payment.

Due to US Coast Guard regulations, CCOA may be required to cancel due to weather or sea state conditions at any time, with every effort to reschedule or will refund in full.
